He was overweight and antisocial. I had to ignore all the friendly cats at the shelter and literally drag him, hissing, out from a dark hiding place. I held him tightly until he finally relaxed and showed interest in the world outside the window.  He reluctantly agreed to come home with me.

Now he’s a sexy, sleek, black panther who loves to “hang” out in the screen porch and harass the red squirrels.

He actually thinks he’s a dog and follows me on walks and plays catch. 

He’s still not cuddly very often, unless food is involved.  My husband became a cat lover now!
